MAURITANIA - DESERT
For three weeks I travelled through the Mauritanian desert listening to its ambiences and its often discreet sounds. It was in April 1999, yet even today I still feel the biting heat of the sun, the permanent thirst of the first days, the starry and sparkling nights, the furtive encounters with wild animals, the fineness of the desert sand and the black patina of the rocks, while listening to the ambiences of this creation.
I thus propose to you to discover this desert which has become inaccessible and where I dream of returning to listen to the voice of the djinns. Duration 64'46".
